Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
Might actually have a drink in the Village (is it still there?) as I've never done that.

Is the Bubble Blowers website still going? they had a list of pubs on there, some of which I'd never ventured too.

Flying back from the states tuesday morning, so might as well head straight over, providing the game is not moved to Wednesday.

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
Will pick up the boy from school and head up early to soak it all up. Will probably hang about for half hour or so after the game before heading home and not looking back.

Me, Dad and brother half day.

Will meet up at Paddington, have a few beers and some lunch then make our way over to the Stanley via The Vic.

After, just get smashed to bits somewhere probably.

Half day booked already. One last look round the place, few photos and a few drinks followed by a few tears probably.

Arsenal will be my last game (if I get through the ballot).
From Coventry in 1975 to Arsenal in 2016. Love UP but the OS I guess is the way forward (says through clenched teeth.)

half day, nice spot of lunch somewhere in the city before heading to upton park and having a bit of a pub crawl before the game. will probably hang around afterwards, no doubt chatting to fellow fans and indulging in the atmosphere.

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
I'll be trying to squeeze out of work on time, make a mad dash across London, hopefully arrive in time to shove a quick pint down my neck, watch the game, head straight off home afterwards. Same as I do every midweek game.

Bit of a shit way to say good by to the Boleyn but not a lot I can do about it. Just thankful I'll be there.

Re: Last visit to UP - What you doing?
I've booked two days off work, so pie and mash from Kelly's, Roman Road and then a pub crawl and I will make an appearance in the Black Lion as everyone raves about the place and finish up in the Queens, puking my guts up attempting to do my best Dicksie impression.

For old times' sake a few of us will be drinking a couple of cans outside the International Praise Centre (formerly known as the Earl of Wakefield). Bring your beachballs.

There's more chance of Glen Miller landing at Gatwick than me getting a ticket...I'm coming up anyway and having a few jars in the local boozers...I'll be with my brother and a mate coming over from Australia specially...I fully expect to get arseholed
